In May 2005, having tried and failed for the umpteenth time to find a way of presenting pictures in a web gallery, to a style and in a manner with which I can live, I gave up and decided to go for a photoblog. Just pictures, with as few words as possible. I like to keep the words for my journal, and for my poems. I've attached my old abandoned galleries to the sidebar and, currently don't intend to add to them. I've been using digital cameras for a long time, and film cameras before that for an even longer time. Before that, if you can conceive of such a thing, I used plate cameras. And before that, I had a Kodak Baby Brownie. I also draw and paint, have done all along. You might think that, after all those pictures, I'd be tired of making more. You'd be wrong. John Bailey
